There are 1B+ iPhones out there. Most of their owners never change their default ringtones. How many people still put custom ringtones on their iPhones?

At Softorino, we have decided to conduct a research based on the data of our WALTR app (the fastest computer-to-iOS converter in the world). Our goal was to find out whether custom ringtones are still popular nowadays & what kind of files people are transferring with our app overall. Frankly, we were completely blown away by WALTR’s data.

What are the numbers?

Basically, we randomly grabbed a 21-Day period and this is what we had:

6125 ringtones

There were 6125 ringtones transferred with WALTR onto iPhones in just 21 days! This leads us to around 292 ringtones per day, 12 ringtones per hour, or 1 ringtone every 5 min! Sweet!

What does this mean?

We cannot judge the whole industry because there is a huge lack of information on that topic. Although we can definitely say that WALTR users use custom ringtones very often and our stats prove it.
