With the release of iOS 11, newly-released WALTR 2.6.5 transfers HEVC videos to iPhone & iPad without iTunes.

Our latest update now supports and pushes HEVC/H.265 videos – making it possible to drag & drop this new format to any device with iOS 11 starting from the A7 chip.

What’s HEVC?

HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding), also known as H.265, is a video compression standard that offers double data compression rate with no picture quality loss. Starting from iOS 11, playback of H.265 format is supported. Look at the difference comparing to the previous H.264 format:

You will need WALTR 2.6.5 to transfer HEVC/H.265 videos to your iOS devices. To update – simply launch WALTR 2, in 1-2 seconds update dialog will pop-up automatically. Or update manually by downloading the latest version from the website.
