Step 3: Copy the YouTube video URL

Copy the permitted video's link on your computer and add it to SYC PRO. You can also use the app's built-in search. Check the video title before choosing a format so you do not download a different upload.

SYC PRO shows the available choices for that source. A missing video or quality option is not a reason to bypass access restrictions. Confirm that the source remains available and that your intended download is authorized.

Choose MP4 for video. MP3 and AAC are audio formats; choosing either will not give you a picture. Then choose an available resolution and your connected iPhone as the destination.

Start the download and transfer after confirming MP4 and the iPhone destination. Let SYC PRO finish before disconnecting the device. Exact button wording can vary by app version.

Open the TV app on your iPhone to look for the video. SYC PRO's documented audio destination is Music when you choose MP3 or AAC instead. Check playback before travel; do not assume a completed computer download means the phone transfer also finished.

Pick the route that matches ownership, available hardware, and output. Premium is enough for in-app viewing; your own uploads have an official phone-only option. SYC PRO fits the desktop conversion-and-transfer job.

A phone-only browser converter is a different workflow. A site's MP4 promise does not verify its download rights, output quality, or transfer support. This guide does not endorse an untested converter or claim that every converter is unsafe.

Save your own YouTube upload without a computer

You can download your own uploaded video on iPhone through YouTube's Save to device option. Google's own-upload download instructions describe the phone steps and the MP4 quality limit.

1. Open the YouTube app and tap your profile picture in the lower menu.
2. Open Your Videos, then choose Shorts or Videos.
3. Open the video's Menu and tap Save to device.

In YouTube Studio, open Content, choose Shorts or Videos, open the video's Menu, and tap Save to device. Google also offers Takeout for exporting all your uploads. The own-upload route does not let you download another creator's video through Studio.

Where to find the downloaded video on iPhone

Look in the app used by your download route. A SYC PRO video transfer and a Safari file download do not share the same destination. Use the table before downloading another copy.

Fix a missing MP4 or failed download

Start by checking the output you requested. A Premium download cannot become an MP4 by changing a filename, and an audio-only MP3 will not play video.

• Video missing on iPhone: check whether SYC PRO used the computer or phone destination, then look in the TV app.
• Browser download missing: open Safari's Downloads button or check your configured Files download location.
• Transfer unfinished: check free storage on the computer and phone, the connection, and the app's completion status.
• 1080p or 4K missing: choose from the available source qualities. Renaming a file does not add detail.
• Own upload cannot be saved: review the limits in Google's own-upload guide before retrying.
• Source unavailable or restricted: use an authorized alternative rather than trying to bypass the restriction.

Check permissions before saving a video

Copyright permission and platform permission are separate questions. YouTube's Terms of Service restrict downloading except where the service authorizes it or you have the required prior written permissions from YouTube and applicable rights holders.
