We decided to take advantage of the latest technologies provided by Apple to ensure the best experience for our users. Users with older MacOS may still try WALTR 2 but we cannot promise a smooth experience.
We think the best feature is the ability to wirelessly import ANY Video, Audio, EPUB or PDF file without worrying if your iPad, iPhone or iPod supports that format. You simply drag and drop the file and it becomes available for native playback. No iTunes sync involved.
We decided not to implement the feature for removing your files since you can now do this directly from your device. Just select the file and remove it. For iPod classic, shuffle, nano & mini you must sync it over iTunes to have all the songs/videos removed.
All imported media go straight into your pre-installed media apps that are developed by Apple. If you send a video file, let’s say it will be in the MKV format – it will be available in your default Videos.app. If you drop a song, whether it’s a FLAC file or a regular MP3 – it can be played directly from the default Music.app. If it is an EPUB or a PDF – it will go straight to your iBooks app. And for ringtones – they all appear in Settings>Sounds>Ringtone.
You surely can! Just as many devices as you need at once and drop the files to each device.
To make your iOS device work via Wi-Fi, it has to be on the same network as your computer. Then you need to make sure that you enabled Wi-Fi connectivity for that particular device. It will then be automatically detected whenever you launch WALTR 2. Please note* you must enable Wi-Fi for every device that you connect. We're using the same technology for Wi-Fi transferring as Apple made for iTunes wireless syncing.
Please follow the steps below to make sure your device is detected in WALTR 2:
Step 1. Launch WALTR 2
Step 2. Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch
Step 3. In the bottom right corner of WALTR's window, click on the settings wheel
Step 4. Check the box "Enable Wi-Fi Connectivity"
Step 5. Wake up your device, disconnect the USB cable and enjoy :)
In the iOS 10.2 update all the videos you transfer with WALTR 2 go to the ‘Downloaded’ section inside the TV.app (for now TV.app is only available in North America). There 2 ways you can remove them:
First Option:

Second Option (if you have many files to remove):
You can also hit "edit" at the top right corner to make it even easier.
