What is Softorino Universal License?

Universal License is an all‑in‑one subscription that bundles ten Softorino apps in one universal activation key. It's the easiest way to get your favorite Softorino software at one incredible price. Universal License provides unlimited access to all Softorino apps, including WALTR PRO, SYC 2, Folder Colorizer 2, Folder Colorizer for Mac, iRingg, Memory Optimizer 2, Task ForceQuit 2, Volume Concierge 2, and as well our future apps: Streamr, PicFindr, SYC PRO, altTunes.

Which operating systems does Universal License support?

Universal License provides access to all Softorino apps, and this means apps that are OS-specific. You can activate all available Softorino apps on both macOS & Windows. *Additional software requirements may vary depending on the app itself.

What apps can I activate with my Universal License?

With a Universal License, it's never been easier to get more. For less. You can activate all software that was created by Softorino. To find the latest list of apps that you can activate and use — click here https://softorino.com/universal-license/.

How is Universal License different from my existing license that was purchased in the past?

The main difference between old “app-specific” licenses and the universal license is the number of apps you can activate with the license key. Softorino now only sells and supports Universal Licenses. Compared to the old license type, Universal License lets you activate any app with just a single license key. This makes it much easier to manage for you and us. Universal License subscription also provides major upgrades at no additional cost, premium support, and long-term savings.

I’ve purchased a Universal License, how do I activate apps with it?

In order to properly activate ANY Softorino app with your Universal License, please follow the steps below:

  • Open https://softorino.com/submanager/.
  • Enter the email address you have used to purchase the app.
  • You will receive a "Softorino Access Link" to that email.
  • Follow that link "Go to my Dashboard" from your letter, and you will be redirected to your Subscription Management page.
  • Locate the app you want and download the latest version.
  • To activate the app with your Universal License, simply click on the blue button "Activate" next to the desired app.

How many activations are allowed with Universal License?

You can have an active Universal License on one machine at a time. Each software and operating system activates separately. For example, you can activate WALTR PRO for macOS on your home Macbook, and you can also activate WALTR PRO for Windows on your PC.

I got a new computer, do I need to deactivate my universal license before installing the apps on the new one?

Nope. You can simply download, install and activate the desired Softorino apps on your new computer. It will override your existing activation.

You may follow these steps:

  • Open Subscription Manager.
  • Sign in with your email address used for this purchase.
  • Locate the app you want and download the latest version.
  • To activate the app with your Universal License, simply click on the blue button "ACTIVATE" next to the desired app.

“Wrong Customer Token” error

This error is displayed if you use an incorrect or expired activation link

To fix this, simply re-activate your Universal License, please follow the steps below:

  • Open Subscription Manager.
  • Sign in with your email address used for this purchase.
  • (Optional) Locate the app you want and download the latest version.
  • To activate the app with your Universal License, simply click on the blue button "ACTIVATE" next to the desired app.

Can I activate 1 app (e.g. WALTR PRO) a few times on a few different devices using Universal License?

The short answer is no. When you activate the app on a new device, the license will be deactivated on the previous device.

How to reset the activation for any app within the Universal License?

In order to properly reset the activation for ANY Softorino app with your Universal License, please follow the steps below:

  • Open Subscription Manager.
  • Enter the email address you have used to purchase the app.
  • You will receive a "Softorino Access Link" to that email.
  • Follow that link "Go to my Dashboard" from your letter, and you will be redirected to your Subscription Management page.
  • Locate the app you want and download the latest version.
  • To reset the activation of the app with your Universal License, simply click on the blue button "RESET LICENSE" next to the desired app.

Are there any discounts available for Universal License?

Yes! We offer a 30% discount for students and the military. Send us an email from your .edu email address or with your military ID to retrieve the coupon code using our contact form here.

As we've announced in our Softorino_Next Keynote — everyone who is an active subscriber for WALTR PRO or SYC 2 with an active 1-Year Subscription can upgrade to Universal License for free and not pay until their next billing period. Here’s a quick GIF showing you how to upgrade:

Existing customers with LIFETIME licenses for WALTR PRO, WALTR 2, SYC 2, iRingg, and Folder Colorizer are eligible for the 60% discount for the first year.

I just need a WALTR PRO license. Can I get it with a discount for one app only?

WALTR PRO is now part of the Softorino Universal License. We believe it’s the best way to enjoy our apps since you’ll receive 15 apps instead of 1 for almost the same price.

I want to purchase a Family pack, do you have a Universal License for it?

Unfortunately, Family Pack options are not available for Universal Licenses at this time. You will need to order a Universal License for each new user.

Can I buy WALTR 2? Will it be supported?

WALTR 2 is still technically supported, however, it’s not available for purchase. We will no longer release updates for WALTR 2.

Will I be able to receive updates, even if I will not upgrade to a Universal license?

The good news is — if you don't want to upgrade to a Universal License — you don't have to.

Since you have an existing license, all updates are going to continue for the app as usual. You will receive regular update notifications with fixes and add-ons when released. Just as before.

The universal license version is marked as 4.x.x and may seem like a major version — but it's done this way to differentiate the builds for activation procedures.

Short answer — you are not stuck. Yes, you will receive updates.

And users with v4.x.x will receive the same updates except they will be for those who activated with their Universal License.

Can I get a refund if the Universal license will not meet my expectations?

Yes, we provide a 30-days money-back guarantee if you’re not satisfied with our product.

Is the subscription renewed automatically after the current one expires?

Your subscription will be automatically renewed. A reminder email will be sent before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription and change the billing method at any time from your Subscription Manager.

How do I change my subscription to a one-time purchase?

You have to cancel your subscription via your Subscription Manager dashboard. And then simply purchase a new Universal License lifetime edition.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you want to cancel your Universal License subscription, please follow the steps below:

  • Go to Subscription Manager and enter the email you've used to purchase your Universal License.
  • You will receive a "Softorino Access Link" to that email.
  • Follow that link "Go to my Dashboard" from your letter, and you will be redirected to your Subscription Management page.
  • In your Subscription Dashboard, click on "Manage Subscription" button.
  • Enter the email address you have used to purchase the UL on the Fastspring Account Management page.
  • You will receive a "Softorino Checkout" to that email -> Open message and click here to manage your orders.
  • After you are inside the FastSpring Orders Management dashboard, locate to “Subscriptions” tab and click on Manage -> Cancel Subscription.

How do I renew my subscription after canceling it?

If you've canceled your subscription earlier, and now want to start using Softorino apps again, you simply need to buy a new Universal License.

How do I update my payment details?

If you want to update your payment details for your subscription, open the Subscription Manager and enter the email you've used to purchase your Universal License. Follow the instructions to access your Subscription Dashboard.

From your dashboard, click on "Manage Subscription". Then click on Manage>Update payment method from the drop-down menu.

What kind of subscription do you offer?

We offer 3 plans:

  • 1 – month subscription;
  • 1 – year subscription;
  • One-time (lifetime) purchase.
