PicFindr FAQ

PicFindr is a Mac app that allows you to search for and download copyright-free high-res images from all over the Internet — all in 1 app. You also may choose and set a desktop picture from 3.1 million images available in the app, add images to Favorites, or create your own Collections.

PicFindr takes pictures from Pexels and Pixabay.

PicFindr requires a computer with macOS 11 (Big Sur) and higher.

To download images using PicFindr you need to

• Open the PicFindr app
• Click on any desired image
• Click on the blue “Download” button on the Sidebar (The sidebar for the image will be opened on the right side of the app interface after you click on the image).

Or:

• In the Sidebar hover your mouse over the image >>> the "Preview" button will appear
• Click on the “Preview” button
• In the image window, click on the "Downloads" button.

• Near the “Download” button there is a drop-up arrow. Click on it
• Select the image format (JPEG/PNG)
• Choose the desired image quality (Small/Medium/Large/Original)
• After that, downloading process will start automatically.

• Open the PicFindr app
• Click on any image
• Click on the “Set Desktop Picture” button on the Sidebar (Sidebar for the image will be opened on the right side of the app interface after you click on the image)
• Wallpapers would be changed automatically.

Or:

• In the Sidebar hover your mouse over the image >>> the "Preview" button will appear
• Click on the “Preview” button
• In the image window, click on the "Set Desktop Picture" button.

• Open the PicFindr app
• Hover your mouse over any image
• Click on the “Heart” button >>> click on the “Add to Favorites” option.

After pressing the “Heart” button again >>> “Remove from Favorites” – the image will disappear from the Favorites.

• Open the PicFindr app
• Hover your mouse over any image
• Click on the “Heart” button >>> click on the “Add to Collection” button >>> in the drop-up list click on the button "New Collection"
• Then type a name for your new collection
• After that, the image will be added to the collection.

In order to properly activate PicFindr with your Universal License, please follow the steps below:

• Go to Subscription Manager.
• Enter the email address you have used to purchase the app.
• You will receive a "Softorino Access Link" to that email.
• Follow that link "Go to my Dashboard" from your letter, and you will be redirected to your Subscription Management page.
• Locate the app you want and download the latest version.
• To activate the app with your Universal License, simply click on the blue button "ACTIVATE" next to the desired app.

In order to properly reset the activation for PicFindr with your Universal License, please follow the steps below:

• Go to Subscription Manager.
• Enter the email address you have used to purchase the app.
• You will receive a "Softorino Access Link" to that email.
• Follow that link "Go to my Dashboard" from your letter, and you will be redirected to your Subscription Management page.
• Locate the app you want and download the latest version.
• To reset the activation of the app with your Universal License, simply click on the blue button "RESET LICENSE" next to the desired app.

If you want to uninstall PicFindr on a Mac computer, do the following:

Drag the .app bundle into the trash. Despite this, some leftover files will still remain in your system. In this case, download the free AppCleaner app and remove PicFindr completely.

Firstly, uninstall the app completely using AppCleaner app.

After that, install PicFindr using the link: https://softorino.com/picfindr/download/

No. One Universal Licence can be used only for one Mac. But you can install our other apps coved by Universal Licence on your Windows computer.
